Reinforce High Impact areas with ease and increase the lifespan on parts by up to 800%

Introducing the Wearmaster
The “Ultimate in Wear Protection”

After many years of development and improvement the team at Duroweld have created the Wearmaster.

Coupled up to any MiG welder the Wearmaster supplies tungsten at a controlled rate into the weld pool at just the right moment, embedding tungsten into the weld. Creating an added layer of protection to areas subject to impact and abrasion.

Longer Service Life

Fewer replacement parts are needed when parts are hardfaced with Tungsten Carbide.

Higher Productivity

Higher Productivity

Upon improving wear life with hardfacing, this contributes to the equipment working and producing more per hour. This increases the productivity and therefore your profits. Improve productivity by keeping wear parts sharp and maintaining physical dimension tolerances.

Less Downtime

Less Downtime - Greater availability of Machine Time

A longer service life means that you will spend less time replacing the tips. This contributes to a reduction in total operating costs.

HOW IT WORKS

Tungsten carbide embedding

The Process
Metered Tungsten Carbide particles are delivered to a molten weld pool at precisely the right moment prior to the puddle freezing.

Hardfacing Weld Deposit PS98
Hardfacing wire matrix with tungsten carbide. The result is a 90Rc. The Tungsten is embedded into the weld and does not sit on the top of the metal.

Recent production demands on parts and equipment have dictated a harder, more wear resistant solution.

Hardfacing with Tungsten Carbide offers 4 to 8 times better wear life than typical hardfacing alloys and can be deposited at 1/3 the cost of tungsten carbide hardfacing wires

INDUSTRIES AFFECTED BY WEAR

• Mining and Construction Equipment - shovel and bucket wear parts, drilling parts

• Highway and Road Construction Equipment

• Trenching Equipment

• Processing Equipment - mixing blades

• Dredging Equipment - cutter heads and teeth, mixing blending, shredding, dredging teeth, mixing blades, hammers

• Recycling Equipment - hammers and other wear parts

• Processing Equipment - drilling tools and equipment

• Agricultural Parts
